Business Intelligence Software for Transport Ticketing

Overview

This Framework is for the provision of Business Intelligence Software (BIS) bringing together travel and customer data, to support detailed data analytics and reporting for a SAM Member.

The BIS platform is required to take daily data feeds from multiple software sources including, but not limited to an ITSO AMS-HOPS; Customer Manager System(s), Concessionary and Commercial Web Portals, as well as additional 3rd Party systems such as Transit Settlement Schemes, and hosts the data on a dedicated secure platform for multisystem analysis and reporting.

This Framework Lot hosts a number of Suppliers enabling the Users of the Framework to have a wide choice of supply options.

Who Should Use This Lot

This Lot is suitable for, but not limited to:

  • Local Authorities, Combined Authorities, Regional Transport Bodies, National Governments or Other Public Sector Bodies wishing to procure Business Intelligence Software for Transport Ticketing Solution;

  • Any Transport Operator wishing to buy Business Intelligence Software for Transport Ticketing;

The Guidance Notes are designed to assist and inform a SAM Member on all aspects of undertaking a call-off from the Framework, including:

  • Scoping a Member's own requirements;

  • Identifying the most suitable Supplier(s) to meet these requirements;

  • Preparing the Call-Off Order;

  • The process for undertaking a Further-Competition (if one is required); and

  • The costs for using the Framework.
